Ride out to the Bear Mountain Car Show. Meet at the Holiday Inn Express on Rte 9W in Fort Montgomery at 5:30 PM. From there we will ride in to Bear Mountain and park together as a club. Show you support for MHVCA, participate in this mid-week Cruise Night.

Drive out to the Hudson Valley Rib Fest with Jeff Rose. There will be entertainment, vendors, BBQ competitions, and a lot of food. Met Jeff at the Park & Ride on Rte 9W opposite Rte 299 at 10:30 for a 10:45 departure.

Drive out to Honesdale, Pa with Ed and Caroline Byrne. This is a historic town with many small shops and eateries. Tour the town and have lunch at the Elegante Family Restaurant & Pizzeria. If your interested in checking out what is there, you can visit www.visithonesdalepa.com Departure will be 11:30 AM from the Pilot Travel Center on Route 17K, which is at exit 6 off Rte 84.

The largest Corvette Show you'll ever attend ... Corvettes at Carlisle. Some members choose day trips while others stay the entire 3 days. Whichever you choose, initiate an e-mail and we'll caravan together.

Drive out and attend the Candlewood Valley Corvette Club Car Show. This is a fantastic show with some of the proceeds to benefit Healing the Children. Our friends at CVCC always have a presence at our show; we need to do the same. Join John Barry at the former Joanne Fabrics parking lot on Rte 9W in Newburgh between Sunoco and I-84 overpass for a 9:00 AM departure.

"Annual" Club Meeting at Chalet on the Hudson in Cold Spring. Dinner starts at 7:00 PM and is an all inclusive $23 per person. Dinner entree selections include Prime Rib, Salmon En Croute, Chicken Francaise, and Grilled Vegetable Strudel.

Over the last several years many of us have schmoozed the Annual Cornwall Street Fair...walking, talking, eating, and shopping for goodies. This year for those interested we will meet around 3:00 in Cornwall and peruse the fair. Afterwards we will enjoy a casual dinner at Painter's Tavern at about 5:30.

See Hal Holbrook perform his one-man show "Mark Twain Tonight" at the Paramount Theater in Peekskill, NY at 8:00 pm. The Paramount is a beautiful old fashioned movie theater that has been completely restored to its original splendor. There are several good restaurants within walking distance. All who are interested should either call the theater or go on line to The Paramount Center for the Arts to purchase tickets. If you're interested in joining the Thorns and Goldfarbs for dinner, email Don Thorn and he'll make reservations for the group.
